KoreVia Solutions is seeking a dedicated and skilledRegistered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU, RN) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, monitoring their conditions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, recognizing changes that require immediate intervention.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Document all patient interactions and medical interventions accurately in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in critical care transport as needed, ensuring safe transfer of patients between departments or facilities.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements:
- 1 year of Acute Care experience in an ICU unit
- ACLS, BLS, and NIH
- Float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified
