Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry (RN, MS/TELE) unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment. As a MS/TELE, RN you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and catheterization to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in EMR systems, particularly Epic, along with your BLS and ACLS certifications, will be essential in delivering safe and effective care. Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, documenting vital signs and medical histories.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Perform procedures such as spinal taps, medication administration, and assist in medical imaging as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Location: Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Orange County!

Shift: Day and Night available

Experience:

  • RN: 1 year (Required)
  • Recent Medical-Surgical/ Telemetry: 1 year (Required)
  • Ability to float to less or like specialties where needed and qualified

License/Certification:

  • 1+ years of recent MS/Tele experience
  • RN (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • ACLS Certification (Required)
  • NIH
