Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly with neonates, and will be dedicated to providing exceptional care to our most vulnerable patients. As a NICU nurse, you will play a vital role in the health and recovery of newborns requiring specialized medical attention.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor vital signs and assess patients’ conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Operate and manage neonatal ventilators and other critical care equipment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and health coaches, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Perform airway management procedures when necessary.
- Educate families about their infant’s condition, treatment options, and health coaching strategies for ongoing care.
- Document patient information accurately in compliance with hospital policies and coding requirements.
- Participate in trauma medicine protocols as required during emergency situations.

- Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
Requirements
- 2 years + of recent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience
- BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required
