Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our NICU (RRT-NICU) healthcare team. The ideal RRT-NICU candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and critical care units.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine respiratory needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including oxygen therapy and nebulization treatments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes using medical terminology.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, utilizing basic life support skills when necessary.
  • Work effectively in various hospital settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers and ICU environments.

Qualifications

  • Valid Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to respiratory care.
  • Proficiency in performing patient assessments and interpreting vital signs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients with diverse needs.

Requirements:

  • 1-year of Respiratory Therapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (RRT, NICU)
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP
  • Epic knowledge
